Rick B. Dregseth, CFO
Prior to Assurity, Rick served as CFO for Brown Corporations which operates an $80.0+ million agricultural crop protection manufacturer and distributor (AGSCO) in ND, MN, SD and MT. In 1999, Rick co-founded Capital Harvest Finance Company, which quickly became a leading specialty ag-supply finance company.

Prior to working for Brown Corporations, Rick worked within the banking industry for 24 years, primarily in the capacity of Controller/CFO. He served 13 years with the Bremer Financial Corporation in various regional CFO positions. Most recently Rick served as the CFO for the Grand Forks, North Dakota and Crookston, Minnesota charters of Bremer, with over $575.0 million in total assets. Rick’s expertise lies in the areas of strategic planning, budgeting, profitability management, asset/liability management (including interest rate sensitivity, etc.), and merger and acquisition planning and implementation. During his years with Bremer, Rick assisted with two $100.0 million+ bank acquisitions; he facilitated a five-bank charter merger in Western North Dakota and a three-bank charter merger in eastern North Dakota. Prior to joining Bremer, Rick spent over ten years with Fargo National Bank in various positions including retail lending and Controller.
